PEN America

Worldwide advocates for literary translations and translators. Their website features an extensive list of links to journals and publishers. They also have a grant program that pays for translations.

Words without Borders

Words without Borders is a nonprofit organization with a mission of promoting “cultural understanding through the translation, publication, and promotion of the finest contemporary international literature. They have an online literary magazine and publish eight to ten new pieces a month as well as anthologies and educational resources.

Three Percent

Three Percent, run by the University of Rochester School for Translation is a valuable resource for translated literature online. The organization creates an annual translation database and publishes reviews and literature news. They also run Open Letter Books, a small press that publishes translated literature.

Center for Literary Translations

This nonprofit organization based in California is dedicated to promoting translated literature. They have a journal, a blog, and a small poetry publishing company, Two Lines Press.

Literature Across Frontiers

European organization that promotes translation and intercultural dialog through literature.

American Literary Translators Association

Professional organization for literary translators in the United States. They give awards for translations, maintain a database of translated works, and are a great source for finding translators.
