Teodor Bordeianu was born in 1991 in Chişinău, Republic of Moldova. After finishing a Romanian-French school, he studied archaeology and art history in Chişinău and, as an Erasmus exchange student, in Iaşi (Romania). Currently he is pursuing his Master’s in World Heritage Studies in Cottbus, Germany as a DAAD scholarship holder. He has won a number of literary contests, including the 2010 Latin Union’s 3rd International Writing Contest. In 2013, he won in the début section of a nation-wide contest held by the Clipa journal, a Chişinău-based literary youth journal. The prize offered, was the publication of his first book of short stories: Ultima furtună (The Last Storm). He has also published in literary journals in Romania and in a short-stories’ anthology in Chişinău. Aside from his native Romanian, he speaks Russian, English, French, German, Greek, and would love to learn Swedish.
